I recently signed up with DirecTV and am getting the station. I am pretty pumped about it. I have already watched Dream 5 and plan to watch Inside MMA this friday on it as well.

Demand equals a deal with Comcast. Also, dumping all their analog channels they still carry helps a lot, and that will happen in Feb. 09 at the latest.

want HDNet? create some demand/urgency for Comcast.
what about HDNet on optimums IO?

HD net is the best channel available. It gives me a new fix of MMA every month. I think it is worth the extra money each month.

Just in case you haven't seen, HDNet is now immediately available on Comcast! The emails of you Sherdoggers do work - check out this article for more, and check your local listings for availability.

From the link above:

"The agreement enables Comcast, the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, to provide the two HDNet networks to HD subscribers in many of its systems, including free On Demand programming, in addition to increasing Comcast’s carriage of HDNet over the next year."

I have comcast and still cannot find HDNet. They better provide it by next tuesday at 3 am...

I'm glad to see that we helped. I must have emailed them 20 times over the last year.
I finally gave up and switched to DirecTV, but I'm happy for the rest of you Comcast subscribers.
