Why was this thread started? Those odds say that Hendo is the favorite. And whoever said Hendo doesn't have the gas tank must share those good drugs. He went 5 with Rampage. When has Franklin went 5? He's went 3 with Hamill and Okami that I can recall.

He stuck to his gameplan and won the fight against Palhares. He was very one dimensional in that fight right hand avoid takedown repeat but not sure if you realize how dangerous of a BJJ expert Palhares is so IMO it was a smart gameplan. I'm not sure how you can look good against a dangerous submission expert when you yourself are not but anyways.
I do agree that Franklin is a much better all around striker and should give Hendo some real problems as long as he can avoid the big right hand which shouldn't be a problem since Hendo telgraphs it brutally. It will all come down to takedown defense and if Franklin can nullify Hendo's wrestling if he can he should win a fairly one-sided decision. Easier said than done.

This will be a nice UD win for Hendo.

Am I missing something here? Hendo is a beast and has never been ko'd. He beat great strikers, like wanderlei and belfort, and even won a decision over big nog. Franklin has beaten some decent opponents, but no one as tough as Hendo, with such great wrestling ability. Hendo controlled much of the fight against anderson silva before he got caught with a choke. In my eyes, I don't see anything Franklin can do to pull this out. Anyone agree?

according to those odds, does that not make Hendo the favorite witha -128 rating?

Franklin went 5 with Loiseau but that was a pretty one-sided beatdown. Both guys always come in shape so I don't think cardio will be a factor.

He went 5 against David Loiseau, and I think I recall him breaking his hand in like the second round.

Hendo is a great fighter and all but he is also overrated a bit. This should be very competitive fight and I will probably pick Franklin to win, but its very close. Hendo is getting on in years, Franklin is right in what should be his prime or just coming to end of it.
They both got dominated by Anderson, Franklin got beaten up more.
Lets not forget Hendo lost to Masaki just 6 months before beating Wand. Wand was definitely not in top form for that match. Franklin would most likely take Masaki fairly easy, I would also pick him over Wand in the state that he is now and how he was against Hendo
