god, not kenny rice again. at least half of the problem will be gone, but i mean is it really that difficult to find people out there who know about the sport and can discuss what they're witnessing with their broadcast partner? i enjoyed the korean broadcast much more. it was much more exciting and the announcers knew more words than "punch". in fact, i'll probably skip the HDNet broadcast entirely this time and just watch the korean broadcast. i'd rather watch a sport i understand in a language i don't than listen to english announcers who actually take away from the enjoyment of the match with their nonsensical remarks.
bas and someone who has actually watched the sport and enjoys it would be nice.

June is also going to be an awesome month for HDNet, with Dream 4, Sportfight live from Portland, and Strikeforce featuring Gilbert Melendez at the end of the month. Possibly our most well-rounded month of broadcasting yet.

I saw that Carmozzi/Forbes fight and wow, what an unexpected finish by Forbes! That last Sportfight was good as well, lots of finishes and it was cool to see some of the local guys I've seen fight in smaller orgs here in the Seattle area on that card. You also forgot to mention that IFL show on May 16th, so much to look forward too!

I agree, and the IFL show is coming too, so, HDNet is definitely bringing it now!

Wow! While I agree that Kenny Rice leaves something to be desired, you're trading Bas for foreign commentary and HD for a choppy streaming video. Not good...

Maybe that guy is fluent in foreign, so it'll be good.
But going from a source that can look pretty on my 47" hdtv to a source that looks eh taking up a 4th of my computer monitor... well, to each their own.

Geez, Kenny's not that bad. He's a good announcer, Bas is supposed to be the one with all the knowledge...and Bas does an awesome job as well. I have 0 problem with this duo.
