HBO's Boxing Announcer thoughts on MMA

This annoyed me a bit but here it is:

Jim Lampley, HBO's lead boxing announcer, said that if mixed martial arts fights are perceived to be more violent and, thus, more attractive than boxing matches, "it's because these fighters don't have anywhere near the defensive craft and artistry that boxers have."

Too bad his girlfriend didn't have better defense skills. Lampley sucks.

I just don't understand why people with a public voice feel they need to mouth off on something they know little about.

They don't have a clue what they're talking about. It's just sad.

As much as he's a dick about it he's partially right. When we're talking about the standup of an mma fighter most aren't as good as boxers at covering up and getting out of the way. But its more exciting when people don't cover up as much and swing for the fences. Thats why I love mma alot more than boxing.

YOu guys are so damn naive and gullible. He SIAD it but thast doesn't mean it's his THOUGHTS. Big difference between what one says and what one thinks. He's invested in boxing.
