An ad hominem and a non sequitor. You'll have to do better than that.

Try harder next time.

Not to say that a new hybrid will not come out of no where and take the mix of BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling.
Even those with the "deadly weapons skills" are outdated, in a period of human history with pistols, pepper spray, Tazers, stun guns, etc.

Can someone unban this guy. People get banned for no good reason here and this guy has actual substance to his post, not just Rickson by armbar and that crap.

I don't know what he got banned for, but that post you quoted is 100% spot on.

I totally agree there should be respect. I just question that being something that is or should be exclusive to martial arts. I want to see the same kind of respect in all competitions. I don't think it is exclusively part of being a martial artist. I think it is something that is part of simply being an adult.

i see more respectful guys in MMA than in just about any other sport....and all you have to do is pick up an issue of black belt mag to see that traditional arts are full of shit talkers who rag on MMA and it's innefectiveness in a 'real fight' [i'm looking at you, bill wallace!].

true . ...

being a form of martial arts the level of respect should be much higher because we are involved in individual wars and cant be subbed in or out or ride the pine half the game so we're actually more like enemies when in there, and martial arts teaches to respect your enemies ..

lool very first post completely ignored what you were trying to get at lmao!!!

but yea man i totally agree with you, it pisses me off so much to see the attitudes of these fighters commin into the sport these days. no respect for their opponent, no care for their opponent's well-being after the fight, i hate to see guys like this finding success in mma.

then again if u look at the ufc (for example), all of the champions are actually very respectful guys except BJ, and sometimes rampage... who most of the time is joking around anyway. but in mma in general i really cant stand the attitude some of these guys bring to the sport. its like a bunch of street fighting goons that found something they are good at.
