Does anybody know if Dana White has talked about the Fedor vs. Sylvia mega battle? I wonder what his thoughts on this fight are.

I also wonder what's Dana going to say if Fedor beats Sylvia (since Sylvia was his main HW champion in recent times)? Also what if Fedor fights consecutively Sylvia, Arlovski, then Randy and defeats all them in a row how can Dana not admit that Fedor is the #1 HW in the world?

I am sure Dana will downplay it and say that in order for him to be #1 he has to fight in the UFC which is an excuse I personally will not buy. He already defeated Big Nog twice. I think if Fedor defeats the UFC's 3 kings of the HW division in a row there will be no shadow of a doubt that Fedor is P4P the best MMA fighter in the world. I am sure also that will set the stage for fans to clamor for a UFC co-promoted event to see Fedor fight the UFC's HW champion.

MMA has to catch up to the UFC and I think there is no other fighter's shoulders that it should rest on than Fedor's. The UFC bought PRIDE and put on some bullshit so called "unification" matchups where PRIDE was represented by Dan Henderson (someone who shouldn't even represent PRIDE because he wasn't their best fighter). PRIDE's champions are now 0-2 in the octagon. Hendo didn't even wear his PRIDE belts into the cage for those fights and the UFC champions never even receive a PRIDE belt in the unifications.
The only PRIDE champion truly capable of carrying the PRIDE flag high in the UFC is King Fedor himself. He was the absolute cream of the crop in PRIDE and he should represent the fallen giant. The UFC can put on another UFC/PRIDE unification bout between Fedor and whoever is UFC champion at that time. (more than likely Nog will beat Mir). Fedor and Nog had wars in PRIDE and they will finish the trilogy in the UFC.

havent heard of dana say anything about affliction yet, except for him setting up the anderson v irvin fight card on the same day, kinda says volumes itself.

anyway if tim wins id say dana will love it cause tims the former HW champ and he beat fedor, solidifying what dana has said all along, fedor is not the best in the world.

if fedor wins he'll still say hes not the best cause he hasnt fought in the UFC

Thats true, if Sylvia wins then that will add fuel to the fire of Dana's big mouth and he'll scream to the world, "I told you that Fedor was a farce !!!".

I personally think that Fedor will blow past the 3 Kings of the UFC, which will silence Dana's mouth for a while. It may piss him off even further.

If Tim wins Dana will write off Fedor as being overrated, overhyped, etc

If Tim loses he will still call Fedor overrated and say that Tim was a UFC castaway past his prime.

Dana will not regress from his stance either way...

danas said to much about fedor not been the best to go back and say, oh ok he is. if fedor does beat tim dana can still say that tim was a ufc castaway and that he got whooped by randy for 25minutes

Dana will spin this as he let Sylvia go, pretty much did the same to Arlovski, and has downplayed Randy since the split. As such, he can easily say Fedor is beating the scraps of the UFC, not any of its quality fighters.

He'll also conveniently forget about Fedor's victories over Nog.

At the last UFC post conference someone asked Dana what he thought of the Fedor vs Tim fight and he totally avoided the question.
