Hi, I remember in the Matt Hughes fight when he broke a rib he kinda was (since he was injured) but has anyone submitted him via choke, triangle, arm bar submissions? He never seems to be in much trouble from these when guys try to get him (just finished watching the Stevenson fight again)

The only time his guard has been passed (in BJJ and MMA competition) was when Hughes passed to side and got him in a crucifix in the rematch, so no, he's never been close to submitted.

True, and the only reason why Hughes was able to pass was because BJ separated his ribs, causing excruciating pain trying to hold Hughes leg down.

yeah the ts could have looked it up easily but whatever. and no he has never been submitted. and sorry but no he didn't "kinda" get submitted against hughes. he seperated his rib, went back out and got pounded on and the ref stopped it. how many fighters (much less keyboard warriors) would have done the same? i believe that he will not only beat sherk but he will dismantle him. just my opinion though.
