GSP's Muay Thai trainer

Did anyone else shit their pants when GSP's Muay Thai instructor was on All-Access.
That dude is one tough looking prick.
"Myatt Zerra will going to be pain...."
Ex-Russian sniper elite psycho.

Matt Hughes was watching in beantown realizing that "training @ MFS with 5-7 former world champions" wasn't the shit he thought it was.
He then immediately called his accountant to check the status of his 401K portfolio.

that guy was cool - he used a training technique right out of the Van Dam movie kickboxer where he throws that pole at GSP's face. seems more effective than a double end bag - but also more painful!!!

I thought he trained with Kru Phil Nurse from the UK in New York.
Nurse is an amazing trainer apparently

Is there a link or something?

Also, does anyone have that clip of GSP training before the Hughes fight where his trainer was trying to hit GSP with two hockey sticks, and GSP was blocking them? That s*it was crazy.

Yeah his trainer was scary but at the same time a little comical. GSP’s kickboxing looked sharp and so did his boxing, it really does look like GSP is constantly improving.

GSP is my favorite fighter but I tended to think that his striking was overrated and his wrestling underrated. I wanted to be objective about his skills and I think I was, but now I think his striking has improved enough so that it is no longer overrated.
