Someone just asked me about this. I did not mean it in the context of credible wins or losses i just meant i think Filho would beat GSP.

I like how the people arguing that other fighters have more wins over top TEN competitors has anything to do with top FIVE competitors. GSP does indeed have the most top FIVE wins out of anyone else i can think of... yes even Fedor and Chuck... and Filho, why the hell would you even bring him up, he hasnt had many wins over top ten fighters let alone ever even fought a top five that i can recall.

no wonder you're a red belt when you can't shut it about stupid stuff that has been argued ad infinitum. BJ and Sherk are lightweights so who really cares what their rankings are. Sherk would get owned by a lot of guys at 170. So stop reading old posts and bringing out the dead! And maybe think about getting a life.

I don't think people read this correctly. This isn't top 10 victories... this is top 5; and there's 7 of them.

He also has ranked wins over Karo and Miller. So by my count thats 9 top 10 wins...

None of them were top 5s. They were top 10s but not top 5... Marquart was still behind Silva, Franklin, Hendo, Lindlan, Okami, Filho and Akiyama (Imo)... Tito wasn't top 10 due to pride's LHW div, same for Randy and Babalu. Maybe Vitor was top 5 though... was a while ago.

Its still hard to even conceive that when Filho has dominated mostly cans and B grade fighters while GSP has dominated mainly top level fighters. I would love to see GSP's MW debut against Filho though, would be a nice win to put under his belt.
