What is going on with the tale of the tape. Each UFC the same fighter will have different measurements. The numbers are all over the place. Dont they bother to check the past UFC or write this stat down somewhere where they refer back to it?
GSP REACH
UFC 54 74" v Trigg
UFC 56 74" v Sherk
UFC 58 76" v Penn
UFC 65 78" v Hughes II
UFC 69 75" v Serra
UFC 74 74" v Kos
UFC 79 76" v Hughes III
UFC 83 76" v Serra II
GSP seems to be at a low 74" in reach at the start, somehow his arms grew

to 78" and then settled back at 76"
Hughes REACH
UFC 65 76" v GSP II
UFC 79 73" v GSP III
Hughes appears to have dropped a few inches from their 2nd fight heh.
Serra REACH
UFC 69 69" v GSP 75" (6 inch difference)
UFC 83 68" v GSP II 76" (8 inch difference)
The fight with Serra went from a 6 inch different to an 8 inch difference out of nowhere. Its tough to take these stats seriously when the difference between Serra could be a 5 inch difference (69" v 74") to 10 inches (68" v 78")
Does the UFC actually keep a record of the reach or do they just remeasure each time and hope no one notices past UFCs? haha.
