GSP-Shields/Penn-Aoki/Mousasi-Machida..Why dont we demand these fights in our sport?

Its amazing how trained/brainwashed we are, just thinking that Shields could NEVER fight GSP or Aoki V Penn unless the UFC completely owned Shields and Aoki(part ownership can be profitable as well), look at Boxing. HBO and Showtime have shared talent for superfights so WTF? Its crazy that we just accept that the best fights in our sport cant happen sometimes because of the stupid azz promo orgs politics getting in the way. If this were to happen in Boxing, where the best V best(superfights) couldnt happen because the WBA and the WBC didnt want their fighters fighting each other, because they both want their own guys to look better than the other orgs, ESPN, HBO, SHOWTIME, BOXING mags, and the public in general would nail them so hard they would have no choice but to make the fights, collect the MILLIONS they would make, and just do the freakin fights that mattered. But I guess were just to stupid to think like that. And so are they(the orgs)

The UFC has a ton of interesting fights to make, I'm actually kind of disappointed in their matchmaking of late tho(its getting better soon), and SF has some really good matchups as well. I'm just saying, if Mousasi wins his next three, and Machida wins his next three, we need to scream from the rooftops that the fight NEEDS to happen. If the UFC ever opened the door for this to happen, and SF/Dream didnt step through, I would cancel Showtime and never watch SF/Dream again.

So go ahead and flame me for wanting GSP V Shields, Machida V Mousasi, and Penn V Aoki genuises. ( I know it wont happen, so dont think I'm freakin stupid)but

Floyd V Manny P didnt happen because the fighters screwed it up, if it would have been the WBA and WBC who said they cant fight each other, everyone would throw a SH!Tfit, why is it so different for MMA? Why dont we care that we CANT have Penn V Aoki even if they REALLY want to fight each other? I'm not just blaming the UFC BTW, but they have the most power to give us the best fights to say the least(at the moment)

Cause we are seeing right now that for the most part, UFC is dominating the mma world. A guy like Fedor is in hiding. Brock, JDS, Carwin, Mir among others would mangle him as well as Machida, Shogun, & Anderson who would one punch him. We've seen how well a lot of the Pride HW guys have stood up in UFC. Cro Cop ran through the Grand Prix and we saw how great he was in the UFC.

If UFC has the opportunity to bring MMA to world/global status, why slow it down by adding leeches like Strikeforce and M1 into the mix?
