Kicking a downed opponent?

Thought this was illegal?

Lawler kicked Smith twice to the body...is it just kicks to the head that are illegal?

Legal and thank God for that. If a guy falls back to attempt to pull guard, there should be something a striker can do to him to punish him for it.

just like they should be able to kick to the head. but yes body kicks are totally legal right now

Hmm, if they are indeed legal, it's strange that we see so little of them. GSP should have soccer kicked Matt Serra repeatedly in the body instead of just kneeing him.
