Got to meet Randy Couture and Matt Hughes *amongst others!*
Had a great time down in Houston this weekend... here are some pics I got with a few fighters...
Matt Hughes and myself
Rashad Evans
Sean Sherk
And best of all....
Big John, Randy Couture, and myself
Overall the trip was amazing... got to meet several other fighters as well, Irvin, Lambert, Scott Smith, Ludwig... we also saw Joe Lauzon running around... he's seriously a tiny person!
Anyway guys, I advise making the trip if you have a show remotely close to your area.. it was freaking awesome. |

Good stuff the best ones the probly the pic with Randy/Big John they look like pretty nice guys, Hughes looks like a dick as usual.

Dude Randy and Big John were awesome... I met them at a different signing than the first three. It was for Affliction clothing in some mall in Houston. The staff was being a bunch of peckerheads about pictures, and I asked Randy if it was cool if I got one with him. He said he didn't care but the promotion people would freak out because they wanted to keep the line moving. I told him I understood and thanked him anyway and went to walk off, Big John was like "Forget them, get in here quick!" We got in tight and my buddy snapped the picture, Randy was super cool about it and the promotion people were actually bitching about the 5 seconds the photo took.
Kinda cool of them to break the rules for me, made the whole trip worth it man...
Hughes didn't come across so much as a dick, as rather a guy who just doesn't show a lot of personality. He answered any questions and actually took the time to think about it... I was stuttering like a jackass trying to talk to him though, so he may have been nicer thinking I was a mentally challenged. |
