Gomi, never was a big fan of him even when all that hype was going around how he is so great. Yea he is good, but I think he let his ego get the best of him which is why he lost the fight he did. He fights hard no doubt. As far as his footwork, im not so sure, I just wish I had a Standup coach to teach me some shit that didnt require me to pay $$$ every month.

Gomi is the best lightweight in the world. He's Pride's Lightweight Bushido Champion and 2005 Bushido Grand Prix Champion. He also went 13-0 early in his career and won the Shooto Welterweight (153 lb) Championship. He's 24-3 in professional MMA and has wins over Kawajiri, Sakurai, Mishima, Azerado, and Jens Pulver.

Pound for pound one of the best fighters. Amazing boxing, top class submission wrestling, his jitsu could use some work, but overall a young and badass fighter.

Download Wamrage's highlight of him.

I'm not trying to sound like a nut hugger. He can be beaten but he is one of the best ever at lightweight.
