Gomi's body shots!

Every fight I watch of Gomi it is his swing in his hips and the sound when he connects that amazes me. When he fought Sakari one of the first shots looked painful.

I noticed that he always throws a lead left to set up for a low right body shot, and often he almost gets caught by the opponents left. I think if someone could duck or stand back as he missed with te left and then they threw a close right hook he could be in trouble. Just my opinion of where he looks open.

ALSO JUST SO THOSE WHO COME ON HERE TO POSE WHILE THEY ARE DRUNK.

I KNOW YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIGHT GOMI! PlEASE MAKE A SHIRT FOR YOURSELF AND ON IT PRINT "WINNER".

I DID NOT TYPE "THE NEXT TIME ANYONE ON SHERDOG FIGHTS GOMI" so if you are sarcastic make it good!

that would be true except for Gomi has a ridiculous chin. that's why he can just throw lead body shots, cuz he doesn't care if he gets hit.

LOL....I thought this was a new Sherdog drinking game. Everytime someone on Sherdog swings on Gomi's nuts, you take a shot.

....

More to the point of your post....body shots are underused in MMA in my opinion. Gomi's fast enough usually to recover from an opening like that before you nail him....oops everybody take a shot.

Yeah so talking about a fighter is on his nuts?

And true, Body shots are so underused. These guys should watch Ernost throw some of those body shots. K-0 ing someone with a body shot is gnarly.

Yeah do guys come on here to tlak or to raise up there post count by saying, "har har" ?

Why would someone even bring a guys nuts into this?

Ah...the lack of sarcasm recognition is amazing on these boards.....let me break it down:

1. I'm drinking. When I saw shots in your topic title, I immediately thought about taking shots. Then I saw that Gomi was in the title, too. There's a UFC drinking game where every time Joe Rogan says "rocked," you take a shot. Gomi is a very popular fighter on these forums (and rightfully so----oops, take another shot), and so a good drinking game would be that everytime somebody makes a positive comment about Gomi, you take a shot. Making a positive comment about someone on Sherdog is called nuthugging (sometimes fairly, sometimes not). ----hence my first comment

2. After posting a gut reaction, I actually read your post, and saw that it had merit, so I responded to it with a real response.

3. In my real response, I said a positive comment about Gomi, which could be considered nutthugging....so take a shot.
