no in some ways i agree because look how he did against jake obrian. i can only see this going thaT way unless herring can be affective off his back and avoid takedowns. standing he should be able to slow lenar down hopefully.

I agree...BL will have power and take downs, but Herring should be fine.

I think Herring is a tougher test than Mir, honestly.

I think Brock is gonna have a dammmmn hard time stopping Heath. Heath is like 10x tougher than Mir. Less submission skills but still has them.

If Brock stands too long he may get lit up.

I think if Brock is smart he definitely takes a decision that may not look overly exciting.

Inexperience will be Heath's main savior as far as Lesnar is concerned. However, in terms of raw speed, explosiveness and athleticism, Heath is fucked. Big time.

I do believe that the standup edge goes to Herring, and if he can stuff a takedown or five (maybe?) then he's got a good chance.

This is key. It may come down to reffing. It is likely Herring will be taken down (Jesus, Kongo took him down and Kongo blows) and be under Lesnar, taking a pounding. He should be able to stay out of trouble and work subs even under a monster like Lesnar but if he is beaten on for a while the ref may call it.

I see it going one extreme or the other and I cannot predict this one. Like the Mir-Lesnar fight which was like two fights in one. Mir getting destroyed and toyed with and having no answer - then the stand-up (justified or not) - then the same thing about to happen again and Mir pulls a sub out of nowhere. So Herring's fight might look like the first half OR the second half of that fight.

I see Herring taking this one. It will cement his legend as a stopper of wrestlers and other big monsters. It'd be sort of neat to see him come out like he did against Kongo and actually KO Lesnar.

He beat Erickson and Kerr, two top wrestlers, he will beat Brock with one of those knees.

Wow, clearly I'm in the minority - I thought this was a real bad match up for Heath. He may be better overall than Mir, but he's not half of Mir off their backs - which is where Heath will be.

We were talking about this on the phone last night. If mir set up the high kick he would have landed it. probably gotten taken down after or we would have seen what Brock's chin is like.
