BTW I can't believe what happened last night. GSP will be back.
I do hope he fights hughes and whips him....i'm sure you all saw how he was grinning from ear to ear after serra won...

Just a physiological reaction, doesn't mean he was "hurt". Where the shot lands has a lot to do with it, and it looked like after the one grazing shot, GSP had no sense of balance any more.

Serra capitalized, but it was such a fluke (no one gets hit to the back of the head standing, its always little shots to the back of the head when they are on the ground) that GSP should definitely get the first crack at Serra as champ!

This is what happens when one guy doesn't have a lot to gain, and the other has NOTHING TO LOSE. Serra fought like it, but I need to see that match again before I can say Serra is the better fighter.
LOL. Silly rabbit.
You know getting hurt by a punch IS a physiological reaction. It happens all the time.
Listen to GSP interview, he was right; he just lost. And bad.

I'll give Serra his respect. The punch on the back/side of the head is what did it but things like that happen. Wouldn't suprise me if the UFC gave Hughes first crack although he doesn't deserve it, he acted like the classless guy he is after the fight. And anybody thinking Diego was the better striker/fighter/puncher or whatever last night needs to get off his nuts and watch the fight again, he was completly owned.

Serra did amazing to capitalize. But it was definitely Crocop/Randleman-eque!

Oh my god... come on now...

SIDE OF THE BACK OF HIS HEAD? more like he got hooked in the temple and Serra followed up on it not once but twice after that. He was getting good shots connected on him and finally finished with a full mount of punches.

Serra has fought to a decision in his last six fights.
He has not ended a fight in over 5 years (vs Kelly Dullany in UFC 36)!
He just had the fight of his life and picked a hell of a time to actually go in for the kill and end a fight.
