Franklin at 205

I know in the pre-fight hype people were saying that Franklin would be small-average for a LHW, and that he would be much smaller than Hamill...

But I just didn't see it. He walked into the ring looking every bit as big as Hamill, and it looked like a natural weight class for him. Plus, he looked alot fresher in this fight than he has in his previous fights. I wonder if he was cutting way too much weight to get down to MW?

I really hope he stays in this division, because there could be some really good fights for him there.

I hope he stays at 205 just to see some new and better fights for him. He can beat just about anyone at 185 not named Anderson Silva.

I agree... but, I would like to see him fight Marquardt as I think that would be a fight where they really trade some good blows

I'd like to see Marquardt come up in weight too. He already blew his title shot with Anderson.

I thought Rich looked good lastnight at 205. Hamill looked a bit bigger in the arms, but Rich didn't looked outsized.

I thought Franklin looked crisp, light on his feet, and showed good stamina. I was nicely surprised that he did not seem to have any problem with Hamill's power. If he can handle the strength of a strong wrestler like Hamill i don't think we need to worry much about Rich being too small or weak for 205.
