Frank EdgarUndefeated lightweight Frankie Edgar (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will make his much-anticipated return to UFC action when he faces Mark Bocek (4-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at UFC 73 on July 7.

“UFC 73: Stacked,” which takes place at ARCO Arena in Sacramento, Calif., will be one of the most talent-rich events in UFC history. The pay-per-view event features two title shots and some of the UFC’s top contenders in action. A main event of UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva vs. top contender Nate Marquardt headlines the show.
The Edgar vs. Bocek bout solidifies what has shaped up to be an impressive undercard. UFC 73 has nine rumored fights, and barring any last-minute changes, now looks complete.
Edgar, 25, last fought at UFC 67 during SuperBowl weekend. His three-round, high-energy unanimous decision win over Tyson Griffin earned both fighters a standing ovation.
The New Jersey fighter and decorated amateur wrestler is part of the Rhino Fight Team, and he’s the current Reality Fighting lightweight champion.
He’ll face Bocek, who will make his UFC debut at the UFC 73 event. The Canadian is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, an accomplished grappler and renowned BJJ instructor. The 25-year-old King of the Cage vet has been involved in martial arts for 15 years.
All four of Bocek’s wins didn’t go past the first round.

this is NOT a good matchup for edgar. bocek's jiu jitsu is incredible. unless frankie decides to keep it standing he will be subbed
