Forrest v Tito & GSP v BJ
It was scary how identical this fight was to how I have been picturing Forrest v Tito. All you have to do is substitute Forrest for BJ, and Tito for GSP.
For proof, this is Gross' summary of the fight, with the two names replaced respectively.

After 15 minutes, two of the three cage-side judges had it 29-28 for Ortiz, with Cecil Peoples the lone dissenter at 29-28 for Griffin. Sherdog.com had it 29-28 for Ortiz.
During the opening five minutes it seemed unlikely Ortiz would be able to do enough to earn a decision over the 205lb Ultimate Fighter winner, let alone go the distance with him. Despite eating numerous jabs, including one he said forced a bout of double vision during the duration of the opening period, the young light heavyweight refused to capitulate.
Bloodied but undeterred, Ortiz battled past the jabs, which came with less frequency as the bout progressed, and began to impose his game on the powerful Griffin. It was in the second period that Ortiz put Griffin on the canvas for the first time. Though the Georgian stood with relative ease, it was an important moment for the confidence-gaining Ortiz.
In the third and final period (unfortunate considering the caliber of athletes in the fight) Ortiz wrested control. With two minutes remaining in the fight Griffin attempted his first serious takedown effort. Had he done it earlier in the fight he might have finished the maneuver. And he might have won.
But as it was, Ortiz's takedown defense and subsequent tackle with a minute to go provided the exclamation point. It was the sort of takedown we’ve seen so often during his impressive run against Vitor Belfot, Patrick Cote, Ken Shamrock and now Griffin.
With a half minute left in the fight, the flexible Griffin tried a difficult gogoplata(ha) from the guard. The pro-Griffin crowd groaned as the calm wrestler worked his way free before firing down heavy elbows.

Kinda scary ain't it. This fight just proves that you can get takedowns repeatedly, do minimal damage and eek out a decision.
Also, isn't the point of a decision to decide who would win the fight, had it continued on? If so, how would GSP have won? But placing BJ gently on his back, while his face got worse and worse?
