The only help I can lend is that he probably has eaten thai chicken more recently then he has used the thai clinch.

He locked it on for a few moments against Bonnar and in a few other fights he's attempted it, but his clinch just hasn't been that impressive and it hasn't been a centerpiece of his game. Wanderlei stated in an interview that he's been working one-on-one in the plum position with Forrest and that's certain to raise that aspect of his game some, but I honestly don't think a few months of intense training, even with Wand, is going to see him develop a clinch that he can destroy Rampage with Chute Boxe style.

Maybe he won't be able to use it to end the fight like Wandy and Shogun but I bet combined with the rest of his skills it's going to be a big help in even just slowing Rampage down, dealing some damage and taking away a little of that explosivness that Rampage has.

Without roids success with clinching the Rampaging One is unlikely. Like Ironman trying to clinch the Hulk...without the iron suit on!
