That's what Sherdog claims, but unfortunately, the vast majority of stories on other sites turn out to be true and are reported much earlier than Sherdog. Also, when news is just a rumor, mmaweekly makes a note of that.

Of course I believe there's probably more to the story. The fact remains, however, that this site needs all the help it can get and McCray was well-qualified. I like the amateurish nature of some of the stuff on this website, but I'd be embarrassed by some of it, too.
EDIT: If he wasn't well-qualified, then that's fine that he was let go. The idea that somehow Loretta Hunt and Sherwood together could handle it hasn't yet panned out though. Again, look at the quality of the articles and timeliness of news.
