Forrest won that fight.....keep in mind that the 2nd round could have easily been scored a 10-8 round for Forrest. I was at the fight and Forrest pressed the action...he was the one steppin up and engaging most of the fight. Rampage fought one hell of a fight and almost KO'd Forrest, but Forrest showed up and TOOK that belt from him.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing the results. It was a killer fight, congrats to Forrest all the way man. I'm just posting the stats and letting everyone come to their own conclusion. Personally I don't think you can judge an entire fight by just looking at stats. You have to witness it, that tells a lot more than numbers alone.

The fight was very close. I think Forrest deserves the win, he at least did a little more than stand there and go for a KO the entire fight. It was like watching Pulver get tunnel vision with Faber, only looking for that 1 shot. You can't always get it, have a plan B next time. Plus, I think if everybody wants to call bullshit about the decision, Rampage was the LHW champion of the WORLD, he should have done more to convince the judges. If you are the champ, you should defend that belt, put on a good performance. The contender is just that, not as highly ranked, and trying to get the belt. Rampage had a lot more to lose, if you're the champ and you go out and fiddle fuck around for 5 rounds, then it is what it is. Nobody should leave a fight with Forrest to the judges, he works to much and stays busy. I do not think the judges are always accurate in the scoring, but watching a guy get a take down, dominate it, sub attempt, push the pace, throw as many punches or more, and physically injure his opponent has to make an impression to the judges. sometimes the appearance of winning the fight is all it takes.

I thought Rampage won 1, 3 & 4.
I thought Forrest won 2 (10-8) and 5.

I would've called the fight a draw.

Most of those stats were about what I expected except for round four. I remember that round clearly going to Quinton, he landed someone shots and got a takedown. The round was a 10-9 for Jackson when I was watching it, but if someone were to just see the figthtmetric report alone, they might think it was a 10-8.
