Exactly. To support your point, that knockdown really didn't do much at all to change the outcome of the fight. Forrest recovered very well and quickly and then a couple minutes later completely dominated Rampage for a 10-8 round. The leg kicks, however, had Rampage concerned for the rest of the fight.

Yea I think Rampage should have got the fight but who cares. If Rampage is really the #1 LHW he will get his belt back just like GSP did. If he's not the #1 LHW then he will never get his belt back period.

That was actually for just arm strikes in the clinch. That stat wasn't meant to include knees. It's in another box I think.

Do those factor in blocked/checked kicks? Cause I really don't think so. Forrest didn't land a clean high kick the entire match, and landed very few clean leg kicks after the second round.

Yep I knew Forrest would get the nod just because he was being much more active even if he was being blocked and missed alot.

Ok, I was totally mixed up and confusing round 3 for round 4, but just watching the fight now I can say that fight metric is completely full if shit. These guys are just making up numbers. I can not believe how inaccurately short the stats on fight metric are for both fighters. Completely discredits the entire sight's credibility.

round 1 - you don't even need to look at them because page won it via knocking forrest down 10-9

round 2 - the stat's are somewhat misleading, because forrest's gnp stat's inflate his head shot stat's. 10-9* for forrest, and 19-19 fight

round 3 - rampage lands a number of power shots to forrest's face and body. forrest lands more leg kicks, but 'page clearly takes the round 10-9 so the fight is 29-28 rampage

round 4 - all rampage. obvious 10-9 round for rampage, so 39-37 rampage.

round 5 - close round. rampage landed some good shots to forrest's mug, but i think that forrest takes the round due to landing some decent head shots coupled with a bunch of good kicks to the legs. 10-9 forrest, so 48-47 final score for rampage.

* i could see how some people could make an arguement for a 19-8 round here since it was all forrest. i personally wouldn't, because he never really hurt rampage with his gnp and he never had a submission cranked where you'd think you heard something pop. either way though, that would make the fight a 47-47 tie, and not a forrest victory.
um no
