Ok, this is a lil off the subject, but My mother in-law flew home from Hawaii and had a layover in Colorado. From her flight from CO she sat next to a guy who she talked with and he said he was in Colorado training for an upcoming fight. This was last week sometime. He told her he was a Lightweight. She said he was white, really muscular with short hair. I can't believe she forgot his name. I nearly killed her. My question is, anyone have any clue who he was. I don't think it was Sherk since he's recovering.

I forgot to say that he did tell her that he was in MMA. ...and that he had gone to colorado to train for his upcoming fight. That was last week, which makes me thinks it could be someone from either Fight Night or at the UFC PPV this weekend

There are Ring of Fire events pretty regularly in the Denver area, where I'm sure many of the Colorado fighters appear.

Nate Marquardt & Duane Ludwig both live here in Denver. Nate owns high altitude martial arts: that's where I train. Several other local fighters train there too, guys that fight at a local venue called Ring of Fire.
