I think a lot of fighters are aware of the succes of Fedor, and try to figure out why exactly he's doing so well. But it's not easy for them, unless they train with him, to see what kind of training he does to become so succesful.

There probably are a lot of fighters that try to duplicate certain areas of his fighting style, like his ground and pound. I remember seeing Karo use sort of the same type of ground and pound style in his last fight.

Exactly.

I wasn't saying that other fighters should copy what Fedor does identically, I was merely pointing out that if soemthing is working for one guy, then it seems foolish not to give certain things a try and experiment.

Unfortunetely, it appears as though some had a difficult time grapsing this.

Fedor's training mirrors that of fellow Russian Alexander Karelin, except Fedor uses striking exercises as well. These Russians... Must be something in their women.
