Fedor's return to the ring in October?

Just wondering if a rumor I had heard was true and Fedor's return is going to be in October as the main event when Pride makes it's debut in the United States? His opponent will be Olympic wrestler Rulon Gardner ??????

Anyone heard this ?? I hope it's true .. I'm ready to see Fedor fight again ..

i am GOING to the pride show in vegas. i ask the DSE gods only 2 things.

1) i want to see fedor live--i will feel cheated if i don't see him. i don't give a shit who he fights. he could fight giant silva for all i care.

2) i want to see gomi live. again, don't care who he fights.

this is the FIRST USA pride show. they better bring out the A-list fighters.

Yeah, I heard this rumor a few weeks ago. This would be a lobsided fight IMO. Fedor really wouldnt have any problem, I have seen Gardner once, and his striking is very sloppy.

Tickets might be expensive and I hope we see Silva as well, but I also pray for #1 most of all too. Got a place I could stay to save some money? lol.

All that I've read have indicated that Fedor will fight the winner of the OWGP but it doesn't say when he'll do it .. ??

I agree that given this will be Prides first fight in the U.S. that they better bring it if they want a true splash here .. nothing would be better than having Fedor fight and dominate whoever the hell it is and have the big boys of the UFC there to watch it live .. I'd love to see their faces as he just destroys anything in his path ..

I'm sure the tickets will be insane but you know .. ? ?It's the first Pride show in the U.S. .. screw it and have a ball and watch GREATNESS !
