Dana White is not a fighter, so it's not fighter-bashing.
Because Dana and Finkelstein can't see eye to eye we're to forget everything that he has done for North American MMA?

Randy fighting Lesnar is stupid and Fedor fighting Randy will most likely never happen seeing as although I see Randy beating Lesnar he won't beat Nog and nobody really cares if Fedor beats up Nog again!

That's actually spot on.

He doesn't exactly have the reputation of an honest and professional promoter

The guy exaggerates constantly and sometimes flat out lies if it discredits whoever he is opposing at the time of his comments.

Dana does what's best for the UFC, and in this case if that means making Fedor's management out to be 'crazy Russians' then I absolutely wouldn't put it past him. This is the guy that said Wand had no heart and Brock was a circus act before signing them.

He STILL won't even admit Fedor is top 5.

I've heard multiple accounts about the Red-Devil stipulation but the stadium allegation only seems to come from Dana. I know Vadim is a hard manager to deal with but I think even he would realize the UFC isn't going to build them a fucking stadium.

Chances are the truth lies somewhere in-bewteen what Vadim and Dana say. Whatever the case it's obvious that Fedor isn't coming to the UFC anytime soon. I really think Fedor is hurt more than helped by Vadim/M1 but he's so close with them he'll never leave. I worry that by the time he realizes who much he is limited by his management's negotiation tactics he'll be the big fish in the small pond and the UFC can basically throw any number they want at him. It's either that or he's off to fight 3 more cans a year in Japan.

Here's hoping Fedor eventually realizes he never truly cement his legacy until he enters the UFC.

Is it just me, or are these requests borderline insanity? IMO their must be some element of truth to these allegations. They are far too outlandish to be fable. IF Dana was making them up, he'd be exposed as the biggest lying tool of all time. I don't believe this though.

I mean, you expect the problem to be money related sure, we're all used to this by now, Couture ect. But to build a stadium in Mother Russia? I think we can all agree that is a little 'crazy', for lack of a better word.
I have no doubts that the UFC can find the money for a "dream" fight, which Fedor/Randy is . I think the problem is that there is always a company out there that sees Fedor as the divining light. Bodog? Yarennoka? Yes. Affiction? Maybe.

This man speaks the truth.

Dana doesn't give a shit about MMA. He'll run the entire sport into the ground if it means to make more money.

Hm.. I'm not buying anything this guy says.

I honestly believe Dana will do what he can to bring the fights that enthusiasts want to see, but he will always work within the system to the best benefit of HIS organization, and that may sometimes create conflict between those interests and what may be best for the entire MMA world.

Still, I think he wants Fedor to fight Randy. This bullshit Fedor's manager's spitting, as though he's just some humble, honest guy trying to give back to the people and Dana and company are a corrupt empire.. spare me. Everyone has their price, and all lines must be tightened down before the ship sets sail. This guy's just trying to CREATE HYPE FOR M-1, as though they're the saviors of the MMA world, which they're definitely not.

It's a bit of a conspiracy theory but one has to wonder:

If Randy loses in this HW tournament, interest for the Fedor/Randy fight falls off considerably. Which is fine by UFC standards...all of a sudden, Affliction's Fedor draw dwindles while UFC maintains their "monopoly" in MMA, not needing a Fedor/Randy fight to keep their heads above water. But M-1/Affliction DO need a fight of that calibur to get their wheels moving faster.

Now, I'm not saying Dana White or UFC is doing this on purpose...but it is a favorable byproduct. Yikes.

Ashame that Zuffa are unwilling to work with anyone else and that all the new fans are so pro-UFC that they cant even see the good in co-promoting.
