Fedor vs Sylvia - who even cares?

You know - I am a big fan of the UFC. But I do not know why a fight between Sylvia and Fedor should even happen. Sylvia would need to earn a shot with Fedor. Let Sylvia fight and at the least beat Barnett or Cro Cop - if he can get past either of those two then he might deserve the opportunity to step onto the mat with Fedor.

You might love Pride and hate the UFC but Wandi vs Chuck is compelling because everyone knows that these guys are both incredibly talented fighters and everyone wants to see them fight. You can make a very valid and strong argument for why either of these two guys should be considered the best in the world.

The same does not hold for Sylvia and Fedor. I don't care to see the Amateur champion take on the Pro. Senseless beatings do not hold appeal in my opinion.

I'd still rather see aa vs. fedor. I don't like Sylvia, he's crap and I dont care if he beat aa last night because they both sucked.

I care....tim is the UFC champ regardless of were he would be ranked in pride....It would be champ agianst champ and also tim doesn't get enough credit the guy is what? 22-2 with loses to frank mir, the one who was on top of the world at the time and AA who is a great striker and now he has beaten AA twice
