Top ranked (an oft-maligned) heavyweight wrecking ball Fedor Emelianenko extends his well wishes on TeamFedor.com after learning that current UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was forced to withdraw from his title defense against Shane Carwin due to a bacterial infection. "The Last Emperor" is often paired up with the pasty-face Goliath in a fantasy-matchmaking scenario despite the unlikelihood they'll ever compete against one another. Still, that hasn't stopped the WAMMA champ from hoping Lesnar gets back on the road to recovery and into the MMA spotlight once again.

Doesn't surprise me, Fedor is not a bad guy.

It would surprise me if the situations were reversed and Brock said the same thing.

I don't think I've ever seen Fedor as interested in another fighter as he is in Brock except maybe when Randy was the UFC champ. He really does want to fight Brock.

Fedor wants Brock to be healthy. Remember, he's previously stated he's interested in a fight with him.

I have no doubt Fedor wants to come to the UFC. He just doesn't want it bad enough to be a UFC employee--he wants to be his own boss. Isn't he also under contract to M-1?
