i'm not a Fedor nuthugger, i simply go by the stats, his record is great, and until someone new or an old foe beats him he still remains at number #1, who else can say that they have only lost one time? and with as many wins as he has, he fought some serious competition too, it's not like he has fought a bunch of cans. I think that i understand why he didn't sign with the UFC i mean if they couldn't reach an agreement, and some one else is gonna give you what you want with a bit more money why not take it? Who cares if he won't fight top competition at least we'll see him fight, he builds up his record to look even better and by the time (if he signs) with the UFC he will look like a legend (not that he couldn't be one now) with an incredible winning streak, and more than likely a title shot in his first fight.

so if Lebron James leaves the NBA and goes to the CBA he would still be considered the best? No he would be ridiculed as an athlete afraid of the top competition.
