Bobby Lashley going to MMA?

WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley is leaving WWE. He's teased MMA in the past... http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/ne...-with-WWE?.htm Check out his credintials. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Lashley Not as impressive as Brock, but should be interesting to see what happens.

Bobbly Lashley is managed by the same management group, Zinkin Entertainment, as Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Cung Le, Mike Swick, Josh Koscheck, and fellow pro-wrestling crossover Daniel Puder.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him convert to MMA.

I doubt he would be able to perform good without steroids.

He wrestled at a much heavier weight in the army (211 lbs) compared to college, so you have to assume he was walking around at 220+ pounds at that time. He's was billed at 273 in the WWE, which means he's probably somewhere between 250 and 260 in reality. The 20-30 pounds he gained for the WWE certainly doesn't mean he's roiding, although I don't know what the details of his past "wellness" issue was in the past, other than it had something to do with elevated liver enzyme levels.

There is an article in the SUN (UK) that states Lashley has been training for a potential career in MMA, but would not enter the UFC.

Lashley told WrestlingNewsWorld.com's Ryan Gray that he was training hard for a potential career in Mixed Martial Arts. The former ECW Champion said that despite the fact that he wanted to pursue an MMA career, it would not be with UFC
