Allan Goes w/Tiger Sharks (IFL)
Ok, flame if you will. I’m not sure how old this news is but this shows you that I really need to get my ass back in the gym more often.
Allan Goes is now fighting for the Tiger Sharks as their heavyweight fighter. How do you guys feel about him as a heavyweight? He always gives me a hard time in training. He’s a hard hitter and you haven’t seen (Joe Rogan’s) “dirty boxing” until you’ve seen him fight. Cardio is tip top and he’s a Carlson Gracie black belt. He should do well. I’m very excited about this and if this news is old it’s because I just now decided to get my ass back in the gym to get ready for my October fight.
I know a thread on the IFL should be in the underdogs forum but Allan Goes is a Pride and UFC veteran and this news was big enough for me to put in this section. Mods may move this if they wish to do so.

He would be a little small but I think he was just taking what was available. He's fighting at 225. He's usually at 205 or 210. I think he'll do well.

He wasn't supposed to fight anymore because of a problem with his brain I thought.

What exactly is the Sherdog Brazilian Letter? I didn't hear anything from Allan about Daniel Gracie. Unless Daniel is directly contacting Allan he would not know about any challenge. I don't think Allan reads Sherdog. He's on his own hunt. He has some pretty big ambitions and he has the tools and the connections to make it happen. I won't say what or who he's after but I'll just say that I wasn't surprised when the UFC announced Chuck vs. Wandy. We’ll see what happens. 2006 and 2007 are going to be very good years for MMA.

Allan Goes is awesome. He took a prime Sakuraba to a Draw, and IMO should have gotten the win.
