I think GSP shuld get it but sumthing I hate about GSP is that he always loses against his opponent in a match for the belt but he always beats someone to get his spot back and to fight and he always wins. Like against Matt Hughes he lost him the first try but his 2nd chance he wins and against Matt Serra he lost his first fight with him but won the 2nd LOL, is he ever going to win a fight with the belt.

Talk about idiotic logic.

His fight against Hughes was very early in his career and he was winning the fight. Serra was a fluke.

Way to spot a pattern where none exists.

1. ESPN did the nominations, and GSP was the only MMA fighter on the list. Nothing to be done about it.

2. Anderson may be the better fighter, but I'd asy GSP has done more this year. He beat an extremely credible wrestler at his own game, then owned a future hall-of-famer, then owned the guy with the belt. Anderson's year hasn't been as impressive, though this is a function of an arguably weaker middleweight division. If he does go to 205 and cleans out any three of Liddell, Wanderlei, Rampage, Griffin, and Tito, that's another story. As it sits, great opponents make great fights, and great fights make fighter of the year awards. Anderson just hasn't had the opponents.
