how active has he been? i had oscar beating him and then he beat an extremely overrated hatton. big fuking whoop.
Actually he won last year for beating Oscar. He won this one just for beating Hatton. I love Ricky, but if Juan Lazcano has you reeling, you might want to think about hanging it up.

Uh.... Floyd beat the Big Show at Wrestlemania.
Any 150 pound man beats a 450 man deserves to be the fighter of the year.

There needs to be two separate categories...

Best Fighter and Best Boxer

There's a difference. FMJ doesn't come close to resembling the best fighter in the world considering his limitations.

I dont buy in a whole lot to the compubox stuff either but I think Mayweather was a lot more active then people give him credit for in the De La Hoya fight. Oscar is getting old, in his prime I think he would have taken Floyd out but I was not impressed by his performance in that fight. I'm not a Mayweather fan by any means especially after he kept ducking my boy Margarito but I thought he clearly won the fight with Oscar.

BTW I thought Castillo beat Mayweather by two rounds.
