Varner did win just about every round, I thought the Cerrone won round 2 other then Varner taking him down and that was it. To be honest I think Cerrone would of finish Varner in the last round! So what Varner broke his hand and foot maybe he shouldn't tried to hit Cerrone so hard and he poked the Cowboy in the eye. I bet Cerrone got some injuries as well. Varner got broken because he couldn't put him away and Cerrone kept coming. Cerrone will be ready for the rematch IF it happens.

Cerrone can say he didnt try to defend the takedown all he wants, but it was a bad decision overall. He was getting worked in the first couple of rounds with GnP. Varner wasnt layinig on him, he was trying to hurt him. Hopefully Cerrone can "spar" next time he fights and maybe he will work on his takedown defense. He has to have that skill to be a top 10 LW. He has heart and a good low kick, but he was in some close calls while having Varner in his "good" guard. You cant take that much punishment and expect to win a 5 round fight after losing 4 rounds.
~there is video of Cerrone sparring with GSP (their fights being only days apart)

varner was winning the fight. i am a cerrone fan, also a varner fan, but it was clear who was winning. cowboy is a tough SOB indeed, and he very well could win a rematch. but before you cerrone nuthuggers and varner haters flame away maybe you should have a look at this thread: Apparently, Jamie Varner has a detached retina

I hear this interview, and the Varner one.... Man i am really beginning to dislike varner... the guy seems like a fake, like he faked the eye injury and faked saying "yeah rematch foresure next" then on the radio today he says the Cerrone does not really deserve the rematch... Dislike is growing for him... on the other hand ceronnne is a certified badass,
