Does UFC release Brian Stann now?
Do I even need to ask at this point?

I don't think they will drop him like that . . he has had four fights in the UFC . He wasn't coming in off a loss though or on a losing streak .

lol no way dipshit. he's a great fighter who got outwrestled by the most accomplish wrestler in the ufc.
he also has an inspiring story in the military, so he's definitely gonna stay with the company for a few more fights.

the ufc is so tough bc its so competitive, and its literlaly the top guys in the world minus a few choice fighters - so guys like stann, who is a pretty popular guy, may not have a place in the ufc - doesnt mean hes bad, but the ufc is that good
i think the answer to your question is that he is worth keeping bc of his mass appeal being in the military etc. and given the ufc's genuine desire to support the troops, but he prob objectively doesnt deserve a spot

No he's got at least one more fight before he's cut. I'd say have him face Matt hammil or Eric Schafer next.

Stann is a great fighter? And you call me a dipshit?
He's been repeatedly exposed as a decent standup fighter without a shread of a ground game, and he just got dominated by a guy making his UFC debut.

Fair enough, I'd say he's more suited for a toughman competition, but I see your point.

Phil Davis is good on the ground, that's his strength
keep him around, Stann vs Kimbo, I'm dead serious

Brian should go to Strikeforce and be competitive. Brian's not a top-level, talented fighter but has an inspirational character, his work ethic and heart is also great!
