Name 5 UFC WW's that could become the champion tomorrow
Not taking anything away from Serra, he fought like a stone cold killer and the forearm that hit the back of GSP's head was just a consequence of a powerful right hook. With that said, I gues 99% of us would aggree that GSP will beat him in the rematch. Another thing that's funny is because there's a 99% chace that Serra will lose his title in his first defense.
Here's my list of 5 UFC WWs that could beat Serra and become champion tomorrow.
1. Matt Hughes - Matt has stated that he has gone back to his wrestling roots and that he's done trying to prove that he can Knock people out. This is bad news for anyone. Serra has the chance of KOing him, but not unless Matt decides to take him down. Matt by GNP stoppage or decision.
2. Karo "The Heat" Parisyan - Serra rocks Karo bad in their first fight, with a similar looking shot that he landed on GSP, but instead of the back of the head, it landed right on the side of Karo'd temple. Then he rained down with a barage of punches, but Karo recovered and brutally GSP'd him for the rest of the fight. Karo's striking is like 10x better now, plus I don't think Serra can stop the Judo take downs. Karo by dominating decision.
3. Josh Koscheck - Could't be a worse match up for Serra. Kos can take this fight to the ground at will and control the much smaller Serra with ease. Kos by GNP stoppage.
4. Jon Fitch - Another great wrestler who's solid on the ground and striking.Fitch can either stop him or win a decision.
5. GSP - What are the chances that he gets hit in the back of the head again? I say pretty slim. IMO he will try to take Serra down right away in their next fight. GSP by GNP stoppage round 1.

Fitch on yeah most def. I guess I should replace Diego with Fitch. BJ Penn is at lightweight now, but nonetheless I think BJ can beat him again.

I think any of the guys you listed could beat eachother on any given night. The WW division is stacked right now. BJ could beat any of them too. The WW title could easily change hands every title defense for the next two years.

Dude Burkman is terrible, he punches with his eyes closed. Diego just got over confident with his striking. He'll get back to his bread and butter in his next fight. We basically saw two ground guys who thought they could strike well fight a terrible stand up bout. I really wish that fight had gone to the ground more. Props to Kos, dude had a perfect game plan though, I just wished one of them would have comitted more.
