The only people who seem to care are the promoters, cause they'll make some serious $$$ off of this.

I don't see Fedor wanting to fight much anymore, and Randy was nearly done with the UFC anyways, so it wasn't like we were going to see either of them defending the UFC HW title often enough to care where they sign.

I love the UFC, but I'd pay any promotion to see this fight, so long as the broadcast is clear enough to see this overrated can, called Fedor, get his ass mounted and pounded out by Captain freaking America!

I tuly believe Randy wants Fedor badly enough to wait 9 months to do it. Right now he is on a winning streak, and is the UFC HW champion. Fedor is the Pride HW champion, and undefeated, a cut and several cans aside. As it stands right now, with these credentials, this fight means big $$$, and a huge ego/legacy boost.

If either loses before the fight happens, the fight doesn't mean much, just Silva and Chuck has been compromised. I also think Randy has a better chance of losing his next fight then Fedor does, so why bother with it, when a monster sized purse, win or lose, lies only 9 months away. A victory over Fedor would also cement Randy's status as the greatest fighter of all time. I'd wait 9 months too, as the UFC offers very little, other then a Nog fight, which really isn't that appealing to the masses of casual fans. Fedor vs Randy could be hyped like no other!

If these thoughts are in Randy's head, I would not be surprised.
