Icon3 Does Any-1 Really Care Who Wins Anymore?

I was thinking that my friends and I watch the fights to see a good fight. Everyone has their favorite fighters/style of fights. Just receently the UFC has started to put together good fights. I think its partly their fault that a fight sucks and partly the fighters fault.

Why did everyone think the past UFN kicked ass? Cuz the fights were great. A bunch of non-stars/up and comers put on a better card then most of the last PPV combined. This is such a hard sport to find out who is going to match up well with who. So many aspects to the game/rules etc.

Do you care who fights if its a good fight or do you want to see the 'stars' fight?

I'd rather see my favorite fighters win, to be completely honest.

I want to see the "stars" fight and hope for a great fight. I love watching no-names too but a shitty fight is slightly more tollerable if I know the guys fighting.

Having favorite fighters really spice up the experience, especially in big fights. Betting on a favorite may be bad for your health, but very exciting.

i think its a little of both. people want some name recognition. id rather see a great fight than a shitty star studed fight, but there's something about the big names that gets that adrenaline going before the fight.

I like and root for people that have exciting fights, so I don't think this applies to me.

Most of the "stars" tend to put on good fights.

It all depends on your definition of a good fight really. Some people like slug fests and some enjoy a solid ground war.

I personally like to see a good fight between the best fighters available but thats just my personal preference.

I always root for my man Lindland. when Tito's fighting i almost always expect a snoozer unless he's fighting a 40 year old man not named Randy Couture.
