Yes. Best channel on television, and the sole reason I upgraded to an HD package with DirecTV.

I'm between Atlanta and Athens, GA -- but I think you can get it through DirecTV no matter where you are. My buddy in Costa Rica gets it through DirecTV.

If so, did you notice they took HD Movies away from the lineup. When I added Showtime the other week I asked about this and they couldn't give a reason. They only said they are always in negotiations with stations. From what I understand, Houston is the only (or one of the few) Comcast markets with HDNet; because they were contracted under TWC before the conversion. I did tell them that if Comcast Houston cancelled HDNEt as well they would lose a customer to Uverse.

HDNet definitely has the best MMA programming on the planet.

The following has been posted on the Time Warner Cable website:

On or about March 31, 2009, in the event we are required to cease carriage of HD Net, ch. 798 and HD Net Movies, ch. 797, we plan to launch Smithsonian HD and MAV TV HD in their respective places.

Time Warner will be removing HDNet from their cable line up sometime in the next few days. As negotiations continue, HDNet is asking that any current Time Warner subscribers that wish to see the channel remain in their line up contact the company and let them know you do NOT want to see it removed.

Comcast : Southern Florida

No HDNet service available.

Although we get Spike, Versus, and another station SUN (which occassionally shows boxing and MMA. It actually showed a half hour show earlier called "UCF Sports", I guess Ultimate Cage Fighting? I dunno, I missed it, it was on an hour ago.

So we get a decent amount with just the standard package. Spike is constantly showing old UFC reruns. Plus we got new TUF season starting tommorow night, but I swear if any crap (or should I say piss) goes on like last season, I'm not watching it.

We get it on Charter Cable in Union, Missouri (bout 45min from St Louis)

We got HDNet around last September and it's awesome. I did like it more when you guys played some old cult tv shows like Dead Like Me but I'll live.

I hate to say but IMO Smithsonian HD really sucks and the only thing that channel could take place of was a piece of crap and I'd still not opt to watch it.
