Do Pride fighters know who they're fighting?

Ok 3 weeks left until the Pride OWGP. Now lets take Nog for example we all know he's in it but does HE even know who he's gonna fight? I always thought fighters know who they are fighting way ahead of time and can train particularly to match that style..

The matchups have not been announced publicly. I don't know if that answers your question though. I'm not sure if they've notified the fighters on their opponent yet.

it's getting ridiculous

Pride has a history of not telling fighters who they're fighting until close to the event...i know fighters in the past have complained about it.

I'd rather not know the lineups early. It always pisses me off when they announce an entire card really early, get me excited for the matchups, then have to switch things around when a fighter gets sick or hurt.

By the time Pride gets their full cards announced, nobody has time to pull out.

Good for us fans, but horrible for the fighters. I guess it really justs allows them to train extremely hard in all aspects

Must suck not being able to train for a particular style. I guess every fighter is in the same boat though.

Just to change things up for once, I'd like for the fighters to show up at the event and draw names in the middle of the ring to see who their opponents will be. I think it would add to the excitement of the event.

I think they know beforehand but are not allowed to say anything until pride announces it -
