Depends on how boring they are and how they win the fight. Sylvia and Arlovski can be blamed for the worst HW title fight I have ever seen.

I think it's more a matter of "leaving it all in the ring/octagon". Only doing enough to prevent a loss is a problem.

I don't think they should get as much shit as they do. I mean, if they are clearly ahead on the score cards then it should be obvious to the other fighter that they need to step it up a notch and actually do something.

I think they should have a point taken away if they are basically running though and refusing to engage

Agreed. The opponent should be the one who should counter ANYTHING the other fighter has to offer. Yes, it sucks to watch, but if you're going to blame the boring fighter, you HAVE to blame the ref and opponent just as much.
