The difference between potheads and users of other banned drugs is the difference between dumber and dumbest.

but the majority of people that toke up regularly just like to get high, not rebel

true, but i know for a fact some of my aunts and uncles would smoke it if it was legal, they get drunk all the time (especially in the summer) and they smoked when they were younger, but honestly when you're older you don't have tons of drug dealers numbers like you do when you're in high school/college

so i could see an increase in weed usage if it was legal (especially medicinally) but oddly enough i could also see a decrease

Wow there seems to be little common sense in the posts above. Weed isn't gonna make you faster or stronger or recover faster. Steroids do, theres the difference. There shouldn't be any repercussions for smoking weed. I've heard some arguments as to how it could help (mostly Rogan and Eddie Bravo) but it doesn't give a physical edge.

Those treating weed like steroids should get their heads checked....

Decent article but I don't know if he should get his victory back. I haven't read the rules but if it said something along the lines of "testing positive for THC will disqualify you from your win" then it's his own fault. It ain't that hard to not smoke weed.

I do agree that it is NOT a peformance enhancer in any way shape or form. It's freaking weed. It isn't roids or something. But whether or not their law is bogus or not he still should of followed the rules.

Hey if its is banned just don't use it. I think it is dumber to us mj because it's a vice, it's not gonna help you like steroids, if you are gonna get suspended at least youse steroinds too, combined with ganja.

There's nothing in the rulebook that says smoking weed will result in your fight being turned into a NC.

I mean, coke and roids are fine, but pot isn't. The argument that Nick was high during his fight is ridiculous, which is why his NC was ridiculous. Make Sherk's fight an NC. Roids do permanent changes to your body to affect performance, the argument can be made forever as to how much weed "helped" Diaz. Go ask any MMA fighter if they want to get high before their next fight and see how many say "Yes" because they think it'd help.

None. Except for Drew Fickett.
