The Difference Between Potheads and Cheaters

Saw this article about the difference between fighters on roids and fighters on weed, like Nick Diaz. Seems pretty relevant to what we've all been talking about, plus it's pretty funny.

As far as I'm concerned, smoking weed isn't a serious offense. I don't think they should even test for it. And I don't care what anyone says, I like Nick Diaz.

My favorite line:

"But marijuana? It’s a recreational drug, not a performance-enhancing one. Its users are more likely to excel at guided meditation than sports."

Sheit, it would be kind of hard not to be smoking if it was legal. But honestly maybe thats why so many people do it in the US cause its against the law.

I liked this line...

"Nick Diaz wasn’t trying to cheat. If anything, he was trying to enjoy some Cheetos and a Pink Floyd album. "

I don't know about that. I have a hard time believing that so many people are smoking weed just because they really want to break the law. Alcohol's legal, and it doesn't seem to be declining in popularity.

Why would it be hard not to smoke it if it were legal? It's not any more hard to smoke being illegal where I am. People disregard the law because it's trivial and stupid. I don't think very many more people would smoke if it were legal. Well, maybe total pussies who've spent their lives under the spell that what the government says is righteous and true.

They should test for it and they should hand down suspension for marijuana. However, lengthy suspensions should be reserved for performance enhancing substances and repeat offenders. They should punish fighters for marijuana, but I think they should be more lenient about it. The whole Nick Diaz thing went way too far when they overturned the decision.

the thing that kills me most about Diaz isn't the suspension it's the decision to make the fight a NC Rizzo tested positive for coke and they didn't change that decision, I feel sorry for Diaz because it seems like his whole career he's been bent over and givin a good hard ass raping.
