Diego has better wrestling and subs. Remember Diego competed against Marcelo Garcia in a grappling match which went the distance, Diego is a monster on the ground. GSP has better everything else thats the bottom line.

I think Diego has better jits but whether he has better wrestling is definately debatable!

Look at GSP v Hughes 1 and 2, GSP v BJ, GSP v Sherk and GSP v Trigg to see how effective his wrestling is.

Diego also has good wrestling, however Kos took him down alot in their fight. We will get a good indication of Diego's wrestling on Sat night!

I do understand that Kos is probably the best wrestler in the 170 lb division but when Diego fought him, Kos wasn't much of a striker. So diego only had to worry about the shoot and he still got taken down.

The more I think about this fight the more I wanna see it!!

gsp has already fought opponents with better takedowns in hughes and karo and he stayed on his feet. even if diago could get him down gsp has fought guys with better bjj in penn and mayham. and there is no comparison in striking. gsp will win by what ever the hell he thinks will make his highlight look best.

Diego couldn't take John Alessio, the number 79th top WW in the world. That plus the GSP sprawl... unless Diego's really done some work on his takedowns, he'll be on his feet until GSP decides to take it to the ground.

GSP by superior athleticism. Seriously, Diego doesnt have anything GSp hasnt seen/fought before. Diego is intrense and it will be a tough fight but I see GSP winning.

GSP is bigger, longer, stronger, a better striker, and has better takedown defense. Diego has insane cardio, but I've never seen GSP get tired, either. I have no idea who has better BJJ between them.

They both beat Karo, but GSP beat him convincingly.

I think the fight would happen where GSP wanted it to happen, and I don't know that he'd take it to the ground. But I'd love to see if he could hold Diego down. He's one squirmy dude.
