Is he a good fighter or is he just getting attention for being a pro wrestler turned MMAer?

Did he even fight in the WWE? I remember him being in one Royal Rumble... getting owned by chops and then being thrown out.

Did he do anything else?

I was there that was some funny shit. im not sure if he had any matches outside OVW.

Puder does have a few things going for him that make him an excellent prospect.

#1. He's still very young at only 24 years old and he's going to continue to improve as he hasn't even come close to him prime yet.
#2. He trains full-time at AKA which is one of the best American gyms to train MMA.

Right now he's nothing more then a prospect, but give him time to continue to improve and you might have a very good heavyweight fighter down the line.
