Are Dana's fighters making him look bad when they mention Pride fighters?

So Dana White has said and done some things recently in his attempt to keep the UFC as the #1 org. in North American fans eyes. He has not recognized fights that have happened in Pride when the fighters come over to fight in the UFC (Gracie, Silva). He has said he doesn't really know who Fedor and Cro Cop are. He has said he has never heard of No-Gi.
Now recently there has been alot of UFC fighters who mention Pride or Pride fighters in there interviews, like Bonner, Tim Silvia, Diego ect. Does this make Dana look childish and like he doesn't know the fight game when he basicaly denies Prides exsitance while his fighters say the Pride guys are great and they would love to mix it up with them?
I have no bias either way as far as UFC vs. Pride goes, i think both Orgs have there plus's and there minus's. I just think it makes Dana look fullish. How about you?

it makes dana look like he's employing a diversion tactic to avoid discrediting his fighters to the american audience, and the fighters, while being hones, are doing the opposite of that. whatever.

My boy Dana's comments are an insult to UFC fans. Seems to really be banking on the fact that his fan demographic are not aware that legitimate MMA exists outside the UFC.

....Although don't blame him going by what I read from all the UFC/TUF fanatics on this site.

Not really.

Everything Dana says or does is in the interest of making sure the UFC continues to have success and continues to make money. He doesn't talk about PRIDE or other organizations because he doesn't want to put UFC fans onto them, doesn't want to give them free pub. Like any businessman, he sees the other competing organizations as a threat. When Dana says he doesn't know much about Fedor, he's lying, and only doing so because he thinks acknowledging Fedor's greatness and superiority to all of the UFC's HW's would be counterproductive to the company.

Fighters, on the other hand, have no reason to see PRIDE or the WFA as a threat. To them, it's just another potential employer. The more there are, the more successful they are, the more oppurtunities for them as fighters, the more oppurtunity for them to get paid.

It makes sense.

Seems like he's holding on by a thread!! He is losing control and just when he had constructed his own little stable of "MMA Stars" to control (TUF Fighters). This should be interesting to watch unfold in the next couple of years.

Remove your dumbass signature.....or stick to the War room. I share similar POV's but I still find it obnoxious, considering this is an MMA forum.

.
You should watch 2003 GP eliminations and final conflict.

Dana on stage in front of Pride and the news reporters talking how Chuck will win the Pride GP, to bad it came back to bite him on the ass and now he refuses to acknowladge them.

Now he acts like a stupid lil girl.
