ok right there Fitch is not lost they have him back and also Dana has said that he like Nick and wants him back once this Elite XC stuff is finished but do you rreally think that Nick is gunna get past the UFC's top WW to fight GSP? also Dana has done some stupid stuff due to his temper anyone who looks logically can see that but he has also done enough things right to help get the UFC to where it is. Notice i say help because EVERYONE should know that he didn't do it alone he has a very good staff that knows what they are doing(i'm pretty sure that he would be part of the hiring process too being the president and all) and of course he had good fighters and put on good fights. but honestly if their wasn't this big AKA blowup that got sorted out the next day!!! would you be so hateful to Dana? i think that you're more than likely angry and acting on that anger in the same way Dana acts on his. So I personally am not trying to accuse you of being a Dana or UFC hater but i think you should step back and give everything a thought and that maybe we don't know everything that had happened in these past few days ok?

Also quick thought into the Fitch thing didn't Fitch say that he never spoke to Dana? and hasn't Dana been in Canada and on his way to Hawaii to promote the GSP vs Penn 2 fight? so maybe it wasn't dana who was dirctly involved but lawyers and that Dana also got all his info from a second hand account because my grandfather was a lawyer and they are not immune to getting angry.

i don't know how reliable it is but, i heard tito say in an interview that dana didn't even come up with the idea for tuff. he said that somebody from spike did and white just latched on to it. however i really dont know the validity of the show i work with lots of guys that never watch it. they don't know who dana white is however, they do know the fighters and remember some of the fights. bonnar vs griffin, liddell, couture and now lesnar. i think the main thing that has helped the ufc is it's constant airing on spike. that gives the average passer by the outlet to catch a glimps of the sport.

Still think about it a little signing guys that wont take muilt-fight deals is a stupid move. You could have UFC champs walk out on you and as we've seen with Randy that can fuck a divison up luckly it was the HW and not a big division like LHW or WW. Like him or not Gurgel and Sell pull fight of the night alot and they're low risk and low price. Same with Spratt and Speer low price and you get the posibilty of a high return. Face it the UFC is the only ORG that can grow it's own stars right now.

I wouldn't say flamed but we're just showing that dana is not the evil god that people make him out to be. He does have some weight but all the smart people know who's fatter.

You are right he didn't come up with the idea but he did set up the format of the show promotion and other things.

I got to give it to ya, that is the best argument I've heard all night. It's hard to argue with that, but while the UFC is building it's own stars we are missing out on some of the best fighters and the best fights in the world. Don't we as fans deserve the best of both worlds? And as loyal UFC fans don't we deserve the best that MMA has to offer? If the UFC is the greatest organization in the world, then shouldn't they act like it?

Well if you want to be technical, the credit fir TUF should go to The Contender which was a Boxing version of TUF and the producers of Spike TV took their concept and modified it by mixing it with "Real World" excpect their are no hot women and by showing the full fights at theend of the show. White just tagged along with it, like a executive producer would do, meaning that they add thier bits here and there into production, like having alcohol in the house and keeping the fighters lock in was probably White's idea.

Yea and that is somthing I can't argue. We as fans just have to hope. I know 3 years ago if I said big Nog would be on a reality show and at the end he would be fighting frank mir for the UFC HW belt or Cro-Cop would lose to two UFC gatekeepers, or wandy and chuck would fight and ther would be no knockout people would call me crazy but look at where we are now. That's what keeps me happy about MMA anything can happen and at any moment any two fighters could be face 2 face in the UFC.
