I was listening to radio.mmanews.com and Dana White said "Does these internet idoits know what fighters's really make?"

I think that Dana White said this, because fighter's get money from sponser's as well, and UFC compensates for fighter's who have a hard time getting a sponser that UFC approves of. Example: Salaverry at UFC - UFN 1. The UFC said no to "Punishment Athletics", but the UFC gave compesated Salaverry $5,000.

i think that its none of our business what the fighters really make and it shouldn't be made to be a such a big deal. its not like ufc is the only game in town. if the fighters don't like the pay then there are plenty of organizations they can go to to try and get paid what they think is fair.

Yea, MMA is the only sport in the world where the fighters & promoters openly shit on the fans on a regular basis.

And then they wonder why the sport has trouble promoting itself.

THAT ONLY MEANS SOMETHING IF HIS PUNISHMENT CONTRACT WAS FOR LESS THAN $5000

Compensated Salvarry or fucked him out of the rest of the money which was much higher. The fact is guys have to train live eat and sleep for three to four months in between fights if you don't hit that win bonus or for some guys even if you do for your first 4 fights its a rough living and this is supposed to be the pinnacle of the sport in NA.

Sponsorship is going up but even a guy like Phil Baroni was in the red after expenses for his last UFC fight.
